Faith in Color Workshop

Service Description

Our Faith in Color Workshop is a creative, faith-based experience designed to help teens build emotional resilience through the power of art and mindfulness. Teens will engage in guided drawing and painting activities that allow them to express their thoughts, feelings, and prayers visually while practicing mindfulness techniques such as breathing exercises and meditation. The act of creating art will help teens stay calm, focused, and grounded in the present moment, using their creativity as a tool to manage stress and strengthen their mental resilience. Through group discussions and faith-based insights, teens will also explore how art can deepen their connection with God, reflecting on how it can be a powerful tool for overcoming life's challenges with grace and resilience. This immersive, hands-on workshop offers a unique approach to building emotional strength while nurturing their spiritual well-being. This in-person workshop is hosted at partnering churches and youth ministries, making it a great addition to a Saturday morning gathering or teen church service. Workshop Requirements To ensure a smooth and impactful session, the hosting church or organization should provide: 🏠 A spacious room with enough space for movement and group activities (fellowship hall, classroom, or multipurpose area). 🎨 Art supplies (drawing materials, paints, brushes, canvases, or paper for participants to create their artwork). ✍️ Writing materials (notebooks, pens, or whiteboards for mindfulness reflection). 📺 A projector or TV for guided instructions and group discussions (if available). 🤝 Volunteers or youth leaders to assist with monitoring the art stations. 🛑 Volunteers to support with cleanup 🍎 Optional: Snacks or refreshments for participants.
